Opole is a medium size town located in the south of Poland near the border with the Czech Republic and Germany. It covers the area
of 96 km2 and has 128 000 inhabitants.

Opole is a highly developed academic center where every year 32 000 students study at 6 schools of higher education. The schools educate a wide range of employees who have excellent qualifications in various fields.

Opole is developing not only in the area of investments and economy but it is also a cultural center with an interesting artistic offer. Every year many events take place such as the National Festival of Polish Songs, an International Percussion Festival, Theatrical Confrontations or the National Puppet Theatre Festival.
